Ashley Ottmer - US Air Force Veteran

Bio: I am a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran with 8 years of service, during which I specialized as an Ophthalmic Technician in the field of Optometry. My military career gave me the opportunity to serve on a humanitarian mission to Ecuador, where I provided medical services to underprivileged communities, leaving an indelible mark on both my personal and professional life.

After my time in the Air Force, I transitioned into civilian life and worked many different jobs while going to school to become a Licensed Professional Counselor, now with 6 years of experience. I specialize in trauma treatment, helping both my community and fellow veterans navigate their unique challenges. My work is driven by my commitment to healing and supporting those who have served, as well as the broader community in need.

On the personal side, I am a proud firefighter's wife, a mother of four (including two wonderful bonus sons), and a grandmother. My family is my greatest joy, and I cherish every moment spent with them.

When I’m not helping others, you’ll find me embracing the outdoors, indulging in my love for arts and crafts, or getting lost in a good book. I find peace and inspiration in these activities, which fuel my passion for growth and personal well-being.
