Resource Page
Welcome to our page dedicated to providing resources in our area or available online. We strive to offer the most up-to-date and comprehensive information to help you find what you need. Whether you're looking for local services or online support, we've got you covered. Browse our resources and let us know if you have any questions or suggestions. Find our latest guide published by the SSG FOX Suicide Prevention Program by clicking the button below.
At Valley Veterans ReCreation, we are committed to ensuring that veterans receive the support and guidance they need without unnecessary financial burdens. We do not advocate for the use of claim sharks or attorney offices for filing compensation claims. Veterans should never fell pressured to pay for services that can be obtained for free through an accredited Veteran Service Officer (VSOs), who are trained to provide the same level of assistance at no cost.
For this reason, we do not allow any claims-focused businesses or attorney offices to post resources on our page. We believe in connecting veterans with trusted, reputable organizations that prioritize their well-being over profit. If you have any questions or need assistance, we encourage you to reach out to an accredited VSO or a local veteran service organization (American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, etc.) for help.
If you have a resource that you believe aligns with our mission and belongs on our page, we encourage you to reach out to us. Our goal is to provide veterans and their families with access to trusted and beneficial resources that truly make a difference. Before any resource is added, we take the time to carefully vet each submission to ensure it upholds our values and commitment to serving the veteran community. Please contact us to discuss how your resource can contribute to the well-being of those we serve.
Veteran Service Officers
Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) are dedicated professionals who assist veterans, their families, and survivors in navigating the benefits and services they have earned through military service. VSOs are committed to providing personalized support, including helping with claims, accessing healthcare, and connecting with community resources. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by veterans, the VSOs are here to advocate for you, ensuring you receive the benefits and care you deserve.

RESOURCE LIBRARY
2.1.1 Colorado - https://www.211colorado.org/
2.1.1 is a confidential and multilingual service connecting people to vital resources across the state. No matter where you live in Colorado, you can find information about resources in your local community.

Make The Connection - https://www.maketheconnection.net/
On MakeTheConnection.net, hundreds of Veterans describe their mental health challenges and the care that helped them. These Veterans share stories and experiences that fellow Veterans and their supporters can relate to — in the hopes that you can make a connection.

ROGER - https://goroger.org/
ROGER is a wellness service that provides free counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention services specifically for U.S. veterans and service members.

WarriorNOW - https://warriornow.org/
WarriorNOW was founded as a way to eliminate the stigma associated with Veterans dealing with mental health related concerns, PTSD, and/or addiction. It is unfortunate how many of our Veterans are suffering and have no outlet or resources to assist in fighting their daily battle. We are happy to say that we do not fight alone. Much like being in the service, we are bringing the team approach back to the lives of our Veterans where it belongs.

VA MOVE Program - www.move.va.gov/
VA’s MOVE! Weight Management Program for Veterans can help you adopt a healthy lifestyle, meet your health goals, and manage your weight. MOVE! is about much more than weight. It is about increasing your ability and confidence to achieve your health goals. MOVE!’s basic ideas—helping you learn tools and approaches for healthy eating and physical activity—are easy to follow and based on the latest research
